Heathkit AR-13A AM/FM Transistor Receiver. Overall appearance is excellent. Wood cabinet is solid with original finish, only flaws are a very small chip in each top corner. Front panel excellent, markings excellent. Dials are excellent. Back panel markings are excellent. Original power cord is getting stiff. Chassis is a little dusty, no rust. Tuned a couple AM stations, not much is available in my poor AM reception area. Tuned many FM stations, had it playing about 7 hours over 2 days. Never saw the stereo indicator light up. Tuning meter works. There are several switches/controls under the lower front panel, several of them had to be worked repeatedly until good reception was achieved. All those controls will probably need cleaning. Tested as described but, to the best of my knowledge, has not been recapped or had other components replaced. Sold as-is for restoration or parts.
